Server with 1gbps
Hi guys,
I am looking for a solution for 1gbps connection and I am testing some there and there.
So far I've tested Astra and Greencloud VPS (Even their 10G just for fun) but actually it barely reach 100M. Probably because it is a VPS.
I'm testing Altushost (10G as well) and I am having better results for a VPS (I can reach 500M DL and 500M UP). Not bad for a VPS.
I've tried 1 dedicated server (Scaleway) offering 1gbps (with SSD) and the speed are fair as well (500m/500m) but may be the CPU is blocking for more, not sure (Avoton 1.7ghz).
I'm testing some speedtest and download of files.
My real application is to have a fast machine to develop and write my tutorials/test, etc.. (freedif.org) and I'm looking for a 1G for further speed.
Any recommendation of providers to have better connections what Scaleway, but for a price around 20-40 USD/m MAX?
Dedicated or VPS, as long as I have 40GB space (Enough for my test) and proper bandwidth
