Problem FreeBSD

irtehirteh Member

I tried to install on the latest freebsd version a PF and I get the following error
kldload: can't load pf: File exists

Comments

  • pf module is already loaded... its already installed... maybe update?

So I created in the / etc / pf.conf file
and when I give the following commands

    • kldload pf
    • pfctl -f /etc/pf.conf
I get that error, PS: I made an update.
  • enter kldstat and see ...

  • if pf is enabled in the /etc/conf file... it will get loaded into the kernel at boot time.. so you dont have to manually load it..
dmesg will show you that and kldstat too
