Limestone Networks now offering Enterprise DDoS Protection

Looks like Limestone Networks is now offering Enterprise DDoS protection, priced at $50/m per IP, while basic protection is free.

Has anyone tried this out yet, if so I am curious how effective it is.

  • Hackforums uses it quite effectively. If it supports them, I don't see why it won't support you.

LSN are doing 50% off atm too... So it's $25/mo or $30/mo for TCP Only.

Wow, where? Not bad at all... 10Gbps / 6 million pps protection for $25/mo

    GWCCAUG13C - Intel Core2Quad Q9650 (3.0GHz/core). Starting at $83.30!*

They also sent me in an email...

So those dedicated servers come with the Enterprise DDoS protection, or would it be an additional $25/mo on top of that?

  • We've got something in the works too (Dallas) -- much lower pricing of course :p

Hey, but good on Limestone! Just talked to them and they said it's new. They can't even confirm the details yet.

The 6mil pps is only for up to 1 hour I just got told.

    Confirm what details?

    Of their DDoS protection services.

  • How much is yours, concerto?

VPS pricing will have some in LEB range. Either way. TBA.

The last time I talked with Limestone they don't do DDoS protection yet. So this must be new for them.

  • That's nice, but their dedi prices are pretty high, still would be 95$/Month.

For anyone wondering, the actual filtering is not being done in the same DC. The traffic is going through BlackLotus LA, meaning there will be quite a bit of added latency (Dallas > LA).
