I cannot believe this things been going on for at least 2 years.
Really!
Just got an email from ASUS Web storage yesterday regarding this, which caused me to almost create a new post here... like I’m doing now but wouldn’t have .. as I said very briefly in my opening, it’s an old post .. figured I’d kill two birds. Anyway, 1) not worth it, but they are roaming around in existence 25 year to life accounts (free). Those weren’t worth it either. 2). I’m sure there was one; but. Now all I can think about writing is .. grrrrrr... not going to!! Say, it ...no! Undead ness! Hehe ok, l8r.

Ok so the yellow warning sign is going to follow me..So ASUS Web Storage is offering 1TB storage for only $13.49/yr.? That's an insane price! Ours is low but not that low. What kind of storage is it?
Update: I just checked out their site and it's $299.99/yr. for 2TB ---> https://store.asuswebstorage.com/business/
this seems like a really good deal. is there something obvious im missing here before i go for it?
Check the old thread in here, with the download speed arrount 500kbps
500kbps holy smokes
no thanks .
Agree! You know how long that will take to backup anything? Heck we offer 1Gbps to 10Gbps connections unmetered to our services. These guys can't even give 100Mbps for backup connections. Wonder if they are hosting from home.
The warning sign was the use of six ellipsis in your post
What is the meaning of this?
Google Drive: ∞ at 10€/m
Asus 1TB at 1,13$/m
For me, storing arround 25TB at the moment, google drive wins.
Yes but your putting your data and your users data on google?
Yes so what? If you're using e2ee it doesn't matter, if you're not it doesn't matter where you back up you should be drawn and quartered.
Emailed last week, still no reply now. Maybe the slow speed is for those in West hemisphere only? Where is the server located? China? Taiwan?
Kim Jong-un basement?
