Proxmox Assign IP to VM

XenosXenos Member

I installed Proxmox yesterday and taking some time learning it to use for personal projects like Plex. I created a Windows VM, installed the Virtio drivers, and configured the Windows networking with a different ip than the host. I verified the gateway and subnet mask matched what the server provider gave me. The issue is the network adapter is connecting to "unknown network". Thanks in advance for helping me :)

  • What's your host network config look like? Do you have a bridge setup between the VM and host NIC?

  • I got it sorted out. I accidentally clicked on the Vlan tag and it automatically entered a 1.
