Dedicated box with intel quicksync
Hi,
Looking for a box with a CPU with a reasonably new revision of Quicksync (Broadwell+, probably skylake+ would be better)
CPU requirements are minimal so an i3 would be fine (currently thinking i3-8100ish would be perfect)
8+GB ram
120-240GB SATA (though would prefer SSD if possible)
~1Gbps (25TB+)
This box will be used as a seedbox (private trackers only), and plex transcoding/stream box (hence the need for quicksync) using external cloud storage.

KS-7 from Kimsufi or the cheapest server from WorldStream for i3-2130. WorldStream also has a i5 2500k for 20 EUR when they are in stock.
The next upgrade I'd go to is a i7 2600/i7 3770 from Hetzner.
The 2XXX/3XXX series are Sandy/Ivy Bridge which is known to have poorly performing quicksync in terms of quality.
Hetzner has i7-4770/32GB (way more than I need)/2*2TB for ~EUR 27
wondering what other options might be out there in in sort of price range, hopefully cheaper as I'm not looking for high compute/ram.
Ikoula has some Celeron G3930 - it's Kaby Lake with QuickSync.
Ikoula also has the i3-8100 which comes with UHD630 graphics. It produces great results and is super fast.
Budget is probably <30EUR (maybe 35) if I can manage as the exchange rate from AUD already makes that pretty expensive for something that won't be making any money.
Hetzner is your best bet.
