Look for VPS under $12/yr - 1Gb RAM - 30++Go HD

Hello,
Umaxhosting is turning off

I had an OpenVZ / 1Gb Ram / 30 Gb SSD / 2.5Tb Bandwitch, for $8/year

Do you know a similar offer where i could go ?
No matter the location.
HDD or SDD >= 30 Gb
Price : $8 or $10 a year would be fine. $12 else

Thanks a lot

Talk with @Anynode, maybe he can spot a bit more traffic if you really need > 1TB.

  • You know that BF is over ?

  • I think your best option right now is with @anyNode https://billing.anynode.net/cart.php?a=add&pid=207 ... Or wait some "Christmas/New Year" promo.

  • You know the reason why UmaxHosting turn off right?

Great answer  New UmaxHosting will be at LEB pretty soon

  • Hello,
Thanks for all your answers !
@mlc thanks for these 2 offers, there are the best options rigth now

Idk why UmaxHosting is turning off, maybe scam yes, but at least they answer on tickets, and told me the will find a solution to refund the next year subscription I just paid few days ago. In the worst case, I paid with paypal, so I will able to open a claim.

'Will find a solution' is the prelude to many excuses. If no refund by the time servers go down, then file claim. As creep says, screenshot everything, document that you've explicitly asked for refund.

This is easier said as done. Of course i can, but my server is not active at the moment and it will take two days till i come home to my laptop with the ssh keys. But then i can run a benchmark.

Of course i tried it. Its just off and unused at the moment. I was running a TOR relay on it and then german courts released a new law. So i shut it down till things have cleared.

  • Hi,

We have lot of money. Please offer.

    Thank you.

  • I already asked the ionos support staff if its possible to transfer the vps to someone else, but this seems not possible when a long therm contract is still running.
But you can get a new one there for 1€/ month.

After I sent them a ticket, they disabled my account.

If the RAM meets the requirements for the running application, there is nothing speaking against that. Why should someone pay a higher price when you can get it for 1€!? :D

Which part of the above did you miss? No one in his right mind can do it sustainable for that price.

5$/y that's like 4.5$ after payment fees. -> so about 0.375/m. And with that, your host needs to pay for the Server, Electricity, IPs, Bandwith, License Fees, and Staff. So, not going to happen.
