Does Direct Admin Licensing apply only to a single VPS or server?

I see that Direct Admin licenses per domain.

Does the licensing require all the domains to be on the same dedicated or VPS, or can they be spread across a number of servers?

Do the Personal and Lite versions treat subdomains as separate domains?

Comments

  • Pretty sure it has to be on the same dedicated or VPS as the license is tied to the IP address.

On the subdomains, I think if you put the subdomain as a separate account (its own panel login etc), it would count as a domain but if you put the subdomain within the domain itself, it should not count.
