If you are scared of such you can always just get the base game for free on Steam (that one is a just a 0.00 purchase, nothing "fishy")
Honestly though, SEGA is big company, so the chances they are going bankrupt and sell your data or getting hacked is probably quite a bit lower than some of the LE* providers here
