  • Interesting proposition that's very good value for money based on my LEBRE methodology: https://lowendboxes.review/nexus-bytes-mt-basic-ssd/

The free NAT storage VPS opens up lots of possibilities. Either mount it using SSHFS for an additional drive to store backups, or you can literally use it as another box for other personal purposes since it has its own OS.

First buy one, get one free offer I've seen in the lowend space. Nexus Bytes isn't participating in the usual Black Friday/Cybermonday promotions, so better decide fast!

LEBRE is not a plan. It is a site that evaluates the value of lowend boxes in terms of performance and price. The plan I was talking about is the Nexus Bytes Mega Thursday Deal for this week, which is a very, very good deal. Buy one get one free!

Oh.. yes it is a super good deal. That's why I make it the reference box to compare against. Currently, the HostDoc Kansas plan is also superb. You should check it out.

Yeah, nice network :-) Location is NY. Haven't had a play yet, just ran the bench and logged off.

Comes with Blesta too, nice way of locking me down should I choose to migrate from invoiceninja.

If it proves strong on plow and can make sexy time all month with no stop for breath, I'll renew :-)

    I don't like that offer.

Reason: I know NexusBytes services, I have benchmarked them and am a customer now because they are so great and because they are dead serious about offering good support. But I'm not rich enough and can't possibly buy one of all those tasty, tasty deals.

Can't you make more offers like other providers, @seriesn, I mean offers that are nice but still ones one can resist? How on earth am I supposed to resist an offer that includes not only a very nice VPS at a low price but a free NAT VPS on top of it? You are supposed to give us a reasonable chance to say Thanks no!

The usual thing is to give snapshots, but I think a NAT VPS in lieu of snapshots is a great idea. You can still do your own snapshots but you can do way more!

Ditto, the idea was, in the event of a system crash, a user can quickly restore/access their most important file on the go and can have local/direct access to their files and not only the image that needs extra work to extract. And the same reason behind an offsite backup location.

sonic said: LEBRE seems very nice plan fit my need. Hope it will come back

I really doubt I can make that same deal again. That was an intro offer for the AMD NVMe product lines soft launch. But my current promo is super close to that if you, cough, cough click the link to the other forum (Decent discount :D)

poisson said: Oh, it's running on a Xeon host node

SSD (Not NVMe) Plans will be utilizing on Xeon Processors, can't get rid of what I already have :( .

First and foremost, welcome to the family and thank you finally explaining potassium reference

And Thank you for benching NY. You and @vyas11 are the only 2 with NY bench marks right now.

I need @jsg blessings too. (I totally forgot about my PM commitment, sorry!)

Black Friday for Nexus Bytes is not about new users but about existing ones. First existing customer loyalty benefit I have seen in the low end market.

I have shied away from deploying Nextcloud so that I don't eat up too much storage space, but I guess I can consider that with this extra storage space!

That is correct. I always said this, I like my life simple. Taking that weekend off to spend time with family and friends. I will still be available for support but interested in being yet another provider with yet another bf offer. This will be the last deal of the month :)

One of the philosophy behind MegaDealThursday is that every offerbshould be different and unique. While I might repeat offers here and there due to community demand, they goal is to not make existing users feel like they should have waited for the next promo.

Also, allowing existing users to take part in promo is very simple. New or old, still a member of the family. :)
