  Since you mentioned Minecraft, what is your physical location?

  The SAS-Zfs variant is very well designed and you wouldn't be able to 'tell' the difference from an SSD array for 99% of application. (nvme ssd write caching magic)

  Unfortunately, it is Russia. More specifically, Saint-Petersburg, so Finland or EU would be better. Hetzner DCs are in Finland and Germany, so geographically it's better.

  • Where? Europe? East coast? West coast? Asia?
  • If Europe then I'd recommend Nexus-Bytes current promo. I benchmarked it and it's about the best that's currently available in Europe (result and review avail. here at LET).
  • Alternatively you could look for a VDS (with *dedicated resources) with your budget. I have a netcup VDS and am happy with it.
