@Matt247 Yes, 1 snapshot is free. Although we only guarantee that they will be available 7 days after creation. Usually, they are available for much longer, but that is the expectation we set. Snapshots use expensive SSD disk. If you need a longer-term backup/image snapshot, I recommend signing up for our backups add-on. These are stored off-server on an NFS system.
As for the promo, these plans are already discounted and do not support adding additional promocodes.

I've had a VPS with these guys for almost two years now and am happy with it. Recent benchmark:
@JDMcPea If you open a ticket, we can get those DD speeds up drastically. There are a few tweaks that can be made to the scheduler settings in Linux.
Also, we can enable host CPU pass through to give you better performance.
