    Took me about the same amount of time when I started using it as well.

    Won't lie. It has some learning curve. Once you get used to it though, it simply works.

    I moved to GIMP when Adobe began the friggin' subscription model.

    Nope, I pay for what I use. Having said that, I mostly use opensource applications nowadays.

    Moved off Adobe.
    Moved off Microsoft office shite when they also moved to subscription model. I use Libreoffice now.

    My school(s) uses cracked Adobe software (CS5). I I found this out when I was trying to 'borrow' there licence key so I didn't have to use the cracked version myself.
