Transfer JetBackup for cPanel to Jetbackup Linux

Hi,

Since cPanel pricing change, we migrate some servers to CWP, and now we install jetbackup Linux on CWP, using standalone console to manage backup, it's https://server-host-name:3030 , but we already paid JetBackup for cPanel yearly, do you think it's fair to ask them to transfer the license to JetBackup Linux so we don't have to pay again ?

Yes, it’s fair as it’s exactly the same software and nothing wrong to ask to transfer license if it’s not the same license.

  • Ya, Already open ticket for that, hope they will response quickly.

ticket open* I will update as well

  • They reply asking me to do this:
    jetcli backup --license
    But, I still see:
License will be required after the trial period.

they let us move 1 of ours (which we asked for)

  • Billing do something then you need to re-issue in the client control panel of WHMCS, then goto ur server to execute that cmd, you are good then.
