Hivelocity cPanel licenses cheaper than rest, why?

I thought all resellers would have the same price? Hivelocity offers only 2 tiers and up to 500 accounts for just $32/mo. How is that possible?

    Couple things:

    • Hivelocity isn't feeding the budget market so they likely took a head count of how much their cPanel customers are paying in and are just absorbing a little bit of each license.
    • The price is spread over everyone. The person that has 10 seats on his license is still paying $32/month. This means that they're helping subsidize the heavier users.
    • They likely figure they can treat this as a bit of a marketing push to draw in larger shared hosting dedicated hosting customers while still being a hero to their active customers.

    I prefer his "expensive" $0 DirectAdmin (w/ Softaculous) than paid "cheap" cPanel

    What would that change? Doesn't matter if the account has 10 or 100 accounts on it - the price will still be $32 for a dedicated server for partners (excluding possible extra discount they get based on the discount table (page 6) for partners).
