10 Alpha Testers for OpenVZ Control Panel

Ben1002Ben1002 Member
edited July 2013 in Requests

I will be providing

1GB Ram
40GB Disk
Currently Unmetered Bandwidth (Not coded into panel)
2 CPU Cores

Will require the control panel to be tested as well as possible for vulnerabilities and functionality. If you are interested please send me a PM with username and password for the panel and I will reply with the link for you to login and start testing

The VPS that will be used for testing is in Atlanta with @QPS, its on my personal test node, nothing to do with NodeDeploy

Thanks

Just wondering, are you not using vzctl or something?

@Jack Ignore me, tried, I meant atlanta....

    Edit: Tired*

  • @Damian

I am using a custom coded listener that is parsing VTCTL commands and piping the data, why do you ask?

  • Opinions on the panel so far?

Only found one bug so far and that is CPU Core allocation.

  • Could you please show us some screenshorts of your new panel @BenND? :)

  • NeoonNeoon Community Contributor, Veteran

    Yeah some screens :D

  • Not the best looking, design is Smarty so can be changed easily

Is all Ajax as well, makes things alot smoother.

  • Very nice! <impatience> When will we see a rollout?

  • The only thing I haven't tried out so far is the host node ip blocking feature. Other than that everything seems to be running pretty smooth.

  • @ihatetonyy

We may / may not use it, not sure yet. Still need to add a couple of bits like serial console etc.

If we dont decide to use it I will just open source it

Hopes it doesnt make the cut No but seriously best of luck.

No but seriously, it doesn't look too bad for a beta panel, no black text on white background to be seen anywhere. It all depends on features, security and stability anyway, looks are secondary in production.

I would like to have my hands on your Panel, if you still need some....

  • @MikeIn

Going to be setting up some more shortly. Been out for the past couple of days.
