no worry from monday will be implemented, also people who waiting for weeks in most of the case 99.9% was broke something and is intencionately ignored.

You should inform instead of ignore, that way you wouldn't receive a spam of tickets and your customers would know that their problem will get fixed someday.

Docker does not run on most openvz 6 due to too old kernel
Also did you purge apache2 so the port was free ?

Did you get unsuspended already ?

Where are you located at? It's interesting that you have so many problems with the interface.

Could you clear up what needs to change? It looks like the correction has an unfortunate carriage return. Is it /rund /run/sshd 0755 root root. Or should /rund be /run

    d /run/sshd 0755 root root?

    Thank you.

    Run this in root:

    vi /usr/lib/tmpfiles.d/sshd.conf

After you change, the final text inside the file should be look like this:

    d /run/sshd 0755 root root

    Save and exit, reboot.

If you have ever performed a apt-get upgrade after your first login, check this again and reboot.

    I don't have a problem with sshd
    Description: Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS
    Release: 16.04
    Codename: xenial

I have only used apt-get update (not upgrade).
I can't however run nfs or fuse and iptables also has problems - waiting for ticket response.

  • msatt said: I have only used apt-get update (not upgrade).

So you've updated your package list but not any actual packages?

Correct - although installed many new packages.
Wasn't cociu saying that upgrades will break these vms?

Pretty sure he meant dist-upgrade but what do I know - I'm a CentOS guy.

I found the 16.04.1 LTS template was more hassle than it was worth
The debian 8 template is alot more stable and lighter

I'm with you. This has been frustrating. I can't install anything without adding a repo and then doing an update which seems to occassionally (not all the time) revert the change needed to keep ssh working.

  • So you'll be converting to Debian as well?

  • @skourous, yes I made the change after much struggling with the Ubuntu 16.04 template. Debian seems to be working fine for me.
