    I added mayonnaise because in Europe, you often have to pay extra for mayonnaise. (So a KVM with fries + mayonnaise is more valuable than a KVM with fries alone.) :smile:

    Well, it depends, I think.

    If you take, for example, McDonald's, in my experience, they will charge for sauce in eastern Europe, whereas they don't tend to in western Europe, but this probably isn't a hard rule.

    However, if you're in Belgium want to try the famous Belgian pommes frites, you will almost always pay extra for sauce (of which there's a variety of sauces to choose from).

    I think that the US is more the exception -- historically, at least -- in not charging for condiments.

    A cheaper way is to just piss off the seller, there will be all sorts of bodily fluids and juices, for free.
