Nginx Timeout

Hello...
Currently I have a site using phpbb. When I use nginx and php-fpm it often cut off in the middle of transaction so the page load stop in the middle. Seems it is because some timeout setting.
For example to update the forum permission. If load a lot of forum in one time, it often stop in the middle of page load.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

What specific information should I check on the log file? Anyway, how do I extend the timeout setting? Because if I switch to apache, it works fine but not in Nginx
