Reliable Cheap VPS

I am looking for a reliable cheap VPS. I am tired of most of the VPS in lowendbox are mostly all owned by the same company with terrible customer service. I am looking for something around $15-25 for a year. about 2GM Ram. Thanks in advance

Hm, so let me get this right.

You are tired of cheap, low quality, VPS. Yet, you are still looking for cheap VPS.
Except this time, you are looking for cheap high quality VPS.

  • cheap with some quality at least. I am not asking for a lot. I don't get a lot of traffic and don't need so much space.

What other specs do you require besides 2GB disk? OpenVZ ok?
    .

  • You'll like HostDoc but you have to increase your budget a bit.

Yes and yes. At least 50GB of HHD space.

We can do it for you on OpenVZ for $25/year in a few of our US locations that have an abundance of extra capacity sitting unused: Linux, 2GB RAM, 50GB Disk (RAID10 8-Drive SAS 10K array).
    .

  • For that kind of budget, you're either going to cut back on spec or get low end service. Why do you need 2GB if you don't get much traffic/space?

You cannot expect more than 1GB ram, especially if you also want a dedicated ipv4.

Not sure why you say that, when I literally just offered him what he wanted two posts above yours.

    Are you new here?

Last year I got VMBox servers for $20/year, 2GB ram with 50GB storage and 4-5 IPV4's.

The shitty part is the old Openvz. I can't add swap. But OP never mentioned ovz or kvm.

No offence was intended towards you.
I had low-end KVM in mind when I made my comment.

OP: IMO I would not recommend getting a yearly subscription to openvz6 VPS in April of 2019. OVZ6 end-of-life is November 2019.

KVM is so much less hassle. I'm fed up of fighting systemd.

Adjust your annual budget up by 50% or re-examine your true RAM requirements.
1GB KVMs from quality LEB hosts do popup for $13-$20 at times.
These are loss-leaders to get new clients.
You may not necessarily find 2GB ram KVM offers for $26( by using a double-up logic.)

    All the best.

    Oh you're right.
2GB kvm for 25 Euro still seems to be up.

I'll leave it up to OP to find the link, just in case it wasn't supposed to be a still-active offer.

Wait, I thought AlphaRacks was terrible and people should avoid it?

Anyways. OP here are past offers and most still work

    https://www.alpharacks.com/NewYear2019/

    https://www.alpharacks.com/Holiday2018/

    https://www.alpharacks.com/12-12/

OR look at https://lowendbox.com/?s=alpharacks&searchsubmit=Find to look at past AlphaRacks offers

  • Try Cociu, if not satisfied cancel in 14 days and get full refund

    https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/156930/limited-offer-1-ipv4-10tb-traffic-for-less-0-84-eur-mo-located-in-romania-port-speed-1gbps-vps/p1

This is latest offer but I suggest you for this offer OpenVZ 2 vCPU 2 gb ram 30GB HDD 5.97$/3 months which is like 24$~28$ for year depending on conversion etc - https://secure.hostsolutions.ro/cart.php?a=add&pid=124&currency=1&language=en

Lastly, look at Scaleway, they giving 100 Euro to use for month of April, (credit will expire on 30 April,2019) https://console.scaleway.com/register and https://www.scaleway.com/en/

I use one in Amsterdam Server, 2 Euro/month 1 GB RAM 25 NVME SSD 1 vCPU unmetered 100 Mbps bandwidth, which comes to around 24 Euro/Year

AlphaVPS (@AlexBarakov) is not the infamous AlphaRacks.(colocrossing)

Sucks to have a shitty industry fellow with a similar name.

  • i had asked for 2gb because of several sites on there. They don't get a lot of traffic but between things that happen in the backgroud, I think 2gb is safe. Location at this point doesn't matter if its reliable and i get to chat to speak to someone. AlphaRacks sucks. and hostedsimply as well. I feel like all these new companies are just creating new names or buying out others.

This sounds good but how is the CS ? is there a chat option at least ? Do people know what they are doing ?
