Hello guys,
We always talk about problems in LET but i'd like to know your good experiences.
Which provider can give real uptime as they advertise themselves?
I wonder if any budget providers really exist with great uptime and long time service.
Thank you!

Netcup.
BuyVM, UltraVPS, VirMach all had almost 100% uptime for me
@cam gullo : amazing guy open minded in price. price and quality is great!
@SSDBlaze : awesome uptime past 3 years.
@Cam @mikho NAT VPS
Otherwhise Netcup and Hetzner. Made in Germany TM hahaha
InceptionHosting, LiteServer, Netcup, UltraVPS, Virmach for business critical reliable VPS. Never had any significant downtimes so I just list them in alphabetical order.
kts24.com, first-root.com for great support and individual solutions.
cociu, OVH and Online.net for dirt cheap "Dedi at VPS pricing" playground.
I have two NATs, one with Gullo @Cam and the newest with MrVM @mikho. One KVM with WisHosting @exception0x876 and one Kimsufi @ninzo59 Atom dedi. I don't recall any downtime with any of these providers.
(Learnt the hard way, though. Months of lurking on LET after a small lesson from LEB paid off in terms of separating the wheat from the chaff)
To be fair, I had 2 recent outages.
LAX because of a DDoS attack on something on the same network and DE had a network outage (~30min).
Otherwise it is stable for a non SLA service.
To be fair, if I don't notice it or if it doesn't affect me in any tangible way, it's not downtime to me. If people have mission critical things on their servers, they really shouldn't be here on LET because they should be paying a lot more for a provider they can sue for lots of liquidated damages should something happen.
Im using Hetzner for dedicated but also for VPS since many years. I had one CX (old VPS line) and many newer cloud VPS without a single failure. Theyre are a serious company while having very cheap prices, that's what I like the most. Hetzner requires to verify your ID with them if you create a new customer account.
Since they increased their pricing, Leaseweb (AMS location) may not be the best if youre looking for cheap hosting. However the quality of their services and network is one of the best so they need to be mentioned. From what I know they verify your data by calling you and asking for confirmation.
Since December I'm using php-friends, they are more premium in terms of location and network and also offer very decent firewall. Fell in love with their minimalistic billing and solusvm themes. I doubt you get real dedicated cores but at least they cannot complain if youre using 100% all the time, never did that on my own though. Cannot comment on their verification process as they didnt ask for more than the usual billing info.
I havent used Clouvider on my own, but theyre #1 on my wishlist when a nice deal shows up for some months now + a use case has been found.
Vultr, Virmach, BuyVM.
Arubacloud, anyone?
SpeedyKVM, @Vapornode, VirMach, BuyVM, @Abdullah
@poisson
You should know the amount of high priority tickets when something goes offline 🤷🏼♂️
Sonicfast.io and ovh.com are the best providers for uptime and for ddos protection.
The shill is high on this one.
EDIT: This is your 4th account spamming on this forum, I will let the other mods to decide to give you a free SEO package or not.
My experience with these was excellent: @LiteServer @AnthonySmith @AlexanderM
Would also recommend Tilaa.com any day.
hilarious.
Cheap, fast, good. Pick two.
JavaPipe, SonicFast, Clovux, (up to now all 100% uptime and good DDoS protections)
VPSDime, KnownHost, RackSRV, LiteServer, SSD Nodes & ServerHub.
I would also be interested in anyones opinion of Arubacloud. Been looking at their services the last few weeks.
They are great at $1. Mediocre at current price point.
Perfect (no problems ever for many years since I used them):
Problems happen just once after 1.5+ year of usage:
Something like that after using around 60+ providers on LET since 2011
Prometeus and Hetzner work well for me. Since years.
60+ providers in 8 years? No, not suspicious as fuck at all. I don't know what you're doing, but you're doing it wrong.
Dude, he's clearly addicted. Please be more supportive.
Hetzner.
Lunanode.
Excuse me. Idling VPSes is a respectable hobby.
60+ providers in 8 years - Sounds about right.
Thanks.
