You must redirect ports, because currently you are trying to access your Esxi on 3389.

Connection Error with RDP
I assume you are connecting to an external IP.
Make sure 3389 is open on FW. Make sure network discovery is turned on.
Try to telnet to the ip:3389.
A better option is install pfsense, the setup open VPN. Much more secure.
