Usually to avoid your site going offline if the shared IP gets null routed due to a DDoS or something. In practice, for a personal blog it's not worth it.

We don't offer a dedicated IP with shared hosting and it's not something I've seen requested, why is it that you need one? I'm genuinely curious, it's not often really needed at all these days.

Right now using DigitalOcean but shared with Dedicated IP will be easy for me as I have no idea of VPS for data management. Using shared IP may impact my website if any low-quality websites hosted on the same IP.
