    Wow, that's fast.

  • 25-30 mins to compile custom config.

Anyone know how to export all the servers from client area with some details? FML I have too many of them and opening each one by one to check locations is annoying.

EDIT: nevermind, email just gives the solusvm login.

Maybe search your email for the ip address of each server - that should shake loose a "your premium vps is ready" message with some relevant details. Not sure if that's any easier than plinking through the control panel though (but could be a place to start)

    No location there, tried :-D
Plus there is total lack of info, no CPU, no RAM, no disk, nothing.

I found one more server in LA by clicking random hostnames in panel, I guess I will use that. #FirstWorldProblems

Was even desperate to ORDER one more VPS, just to not search for LA in panel... but LA is backorder. Problems, only problems!

I bit the bullet not too long ago and copied the details from the control panel by hand for a good handful of black friday idlers. Complete with the funky names assigned by Virmach: Meandering-Green-Bison-VM or whatever.

It was a chore but I was going through the list to update and reboot anyway, so ... I did the needful, for the future references.

    EDIT2:

A way to somehow automate that somehow would be useful, agreed

Yes, I had list like that... before BF :-D After that I decided "whenever I use that server for something I will put it on the list, not lets just idle and don't waste time" and it kinda backfired.

So, anyone selling any LA KVMs? The one I found has 256 MB RAM, meeh.

  • Maybe traceroute each ip for location, if that helps?

  • but then I still would need to get IPs from panel, so I can just look at node name and be done.

It's not like I have e-mails for all servers (especially those created silently as backlog) and some of those are Premium VPS, some not. Too much hassle, it would be faster to just click all hostnames in panel and refresh when it dies because of too many requests :D

I updated my kernel to 4.20.11.

    UPDATE:
    Downgraded to kernel 4.20.8.
    Newer ones are too slow.

  • 4.20.12 is bearable.
