China Windows VPS

Hi,
Do you know any Windows VPS provider in China? It is not for hosting, so I think license is not required.

    Simple.
You add all facts then subtract all uncertainties, add some logic, common sense, bring to a boil while stirring constantly and then ignore it all together.

  • use Singapore server may have good peering to china

Google for ICP license. It is Windows license!

You could install GNU GPL software on your Windows to make it stronger and win.

  • Guys, from license I meant license for hosting in China, not Windows license
I found a hosting with good pricing.

I thought it was pretty clear he was referring to the ICP, given the context of needing a VPS in CHINA.

He's correct. If he's not running a website, an ICP is not required.

Windows license is required, but hey you know.. it's China, so maybe not lol.

I am curious, is special license needed to open hosting service in China?

Wow a rare case of a moderately good-quality commente from eol. 👏👏

I did ctrl-f on the wikipedia article and found nothing for "Windows" so I shall ask again, how does one come to this conclusion.

My driver's license is a Windows license.

I have a friend in Hong Kong who uses hostus.us... not sure if you are in that part of the country but here are some of the specs/prices they offer. Friend vouches that they were very communicable and accommodating which is something you don't always find in some of the more shadowy mainland Chinese colocators/hosting companies.

    PLAN 1
    – Intel Xeon E5 Processor
    – 1 CPU Core
    – 512 MB RAM
    – 25 GB SSD Storage
    – 750 GB Bandwidth
    – IPv4 and IPv6

    $4.35 per month

    PLAN 2
    – Intel Xeon E5 Processor
    – 3 CPU Cores
    – 3,072 MB RAM
    – 100 GB SSD Storage
    – 3 TB Bandwidth
    – IPv4 and IPv6

    $19.95 per month

Hong Kong is very specifically not China, and totally separate network situation, useless if you really want China for monitoring/etc
