[30% discount] Prometeus LPAR KVM available in NL

Just received an e-mail from Prometeus. They are launching LPAR (Logical PARtition) KVM with dedicated cores in The Netherlands. They are temporarily discounting them by 30% [starting at 6EUR/month ex. VAT, 1 dedi core >= 2GHz, 4GB RAM, 40GB SSD in RAID 10, 10TB traffic, DDOS protection].

For those interested: http://www.prometeus.net/site/lpar.php

[watch out that only those in NL are discounted].

  • Those servers perform very well, by the way. I have one in Milano. Prometeus are good people.

  • They are old and good. period.

Very nice IOPS results. Perhaps a bit on the pricey side without the discount.

  • I received a mailer today that their TeraKVM series (shared cores with dual ssd+hdd block devices ) are also now available in NL.

Best value( per resource) seems to be

    TERAKVM-1000 @ €9.0 / Month (2 vCPU, 4GB RAM, 100GB SSD, 1000GB HDD) https://www.prometeus.net/site/terakvm.php
