Scaleway Object Storage General Availability as of February 1st
Scaleway is launching Object Storage for general availability. I received today the following message and I feel like sharing, since nobody opened the subject yet.
Dear cloud rider,
Thank you for using Object Storage! The product quality, performance and reliability have been tested and great news: the general availability release is scheduled for February 1st, 2019.
As a result, starting from 01/02/2019, 00:00 UTC, you will be charged for data transferred and stored.
For €5/month, the Take Off Pack will include the first 500 GB of storage and outgoing transfer. You will then be charged €0.01/GB for extra storage and €0.02/GB for extra outgoing transfer. Network transit to Scaleway instances and Dedibox dedicated servers will remain free within the region used.
If you do not want to be charged for data currently stored, make sure to delete them using our brand new console or a tool as s3cmd.
