You lost a part of your life in reading this.
Oh no.
Oh shit! That's what nightmares are made of!
It all depends on the question, except when it doesn't.
Hello?
Knock, knock.
Who's there?
Wire.
Wire who?
Wire you askin' ?
Lol
Edit2: some
eggsballs for the buffalo^ ye olde load balancer
New Virmach logo
So ... about that storage buffalo - it's been (as expected) a decent connect for kimsufi in Beauharnois, blazing a trail at a consistent 10 to 11 MB/s, just a bit shy of the 100 mbit cap on the kimsufi side.
I notice cpu shows tends to show some load just supporting ssh and scp processes (plus whatever extra load from writing to LUKS without AES flag enabled etc.)
works fine for me anyway but maybe something to keep an eye on if running any more ambitious backend on this particular beast of burden
Buffalo of burden.
EDIT2:
so, while pulling down about 100 GB via scp, I'm seeing CPU average bouncing around 50%
considering opening a ticket to suggest enabling AES flag for CPU ...
Good idea.
Good luck.
EDIT2:
Good edit.
Nice load average
yeah, it'd be a pity if something was to happen to it ...
like idling...
remote hands are at the ready to do the needful
EDIT2:
Idle servers are the devil's playground. Discuss.
You need to secure your idle servers for them NOT to become the devil's playground.
EDIT2:
No idea.
