I need storge vps.
Hello everybody,
I want to buy a storge vps for me to save some documents.
This is my configuration of needed.
CPU:1
RAM:512MB-1G(512MB is best)
Hard disk：500GB or 1000GB
location:US or EU (of course, other place is also ok)
Bandwith:Unlimited
My ideal quotation:between 4~7 dollars

Do you actually need unlimited bandwidth?
I've been looking into storage VPSes recently too. My main recommendation would be a BuyVM KVM slice - the cheapest one is $3.50 per month for 1 GB RAM and 20 GB SSD space. Then you can add storage slabs at $1.25/month per 256 GB. So, your 500 GB would be an extra $2.50 per month, so $6 per month. Probably not the cheapest, but it's still very cheap, and overall a really good service. You can expand the slab later, so for example if you want to go from 512 GB to 768 GB. You just resize it in their control panel, and then extend the partition.
BuyVM's disk IO is the fastest I've seen out of any "storage VPS" service, and @Francisco is fantastic to deal with. I've been using BuyVM since 2012.
I've got a few other recommendations (BudgetNode, VirMach, and @eol's favourite Hetzner), but none of those offer unlimited bandwidth, and IMO they're not as good as BuyVM (slower disk IO, slower networks).
Hetzner's storage boxes are also not usual VPSes in that you don't have SSH access to them, you can just use the protocols they provide (SFTP/SCP, FTP, Samba, Borgbackup, rsync, and probably a few others)
