I am not sure if I need that server but I am still trying.

I thought may be they will do something related on coming December 23rd but they said no.

Yeah that was using a promo code otherwise normally it is $5/month.

There could be an issue with the next location (e.g. server downtime or network issues), which may not necessarily be VirMach's fault, that causes the script to time out.

  • Just wait.
In my experience it's just a slow connection.

It's pretty interesting how you're seeing that number everywhere now as that was the premise of the movie.

Maybe you're onto something or maybe you need to watch the movie as that may happen to you very soon.

From that $3.00 offer, is that another provisioning error? I don't want to clog up the ticket system if it's already known and affecting everyone else, figured I'd check in here first. Anyone else seeing the same?

These should have been fixed by now. If you reboot and it's still the same, then let us know in a ticket.

Rebooted just now and it's the same, I'll file a ticket later this evening. Just to clarify, this is from the $4.70/$3.00 list that was just processed yesterday, not the older deal that had a similar issue resolved several days ago. The thread is fairly dead now, so no clue if anyone else who picked up the $3.00 offer has the same issue or not, but it might be worth checking.

Anyone else do the vpshared hosting with an existing domain? How do you tell what nameservers to set your domain to? Forget easter eggs I can't even find SOAs.

(Or is DNS hosting not included without buying a domain from Virmach, and I just need to add records to my existing zone hosted elsewhere?)

    Nameserver 2: ns2.vpshared.com (23.95.218.10)

We are expiring the coupon "BUFPROMOthatsallfolks" -- this was one of the two unredeemed easter eggs. This was not the SSD32G promotion; that one still exists. This promotion was for 99% off the SSD1G package (annually.)

Many people were able to redeem this before the expiration. A lot of you figured this out but did not find the correct product to apply it to, and we can no longer accept it since we've expired it. Please do not create tickets about this or private message us. We hope you understand. There was never an error with this code as some people mentioned, you were just not applying it to the correct product & term (this was the hard part for the easter egg.)
