    openlitespeed package updated:

    • fixed a typo in a symbolic link
    • marking some files as conffiles for an safe (well, at least I hope) update.

A safe upgrade EXCEPT this time, so take your backup before updating this package, if you don't want to write your configuration again.

    openlitespeed package updated:

    • fixed a typo in the postinst
  • new component: php

new package in the php component: php5-5.4.4 (with litespeed sapi daemon & related init file)

  • I forgot the i386 version of the php build. I'll upload it in some hours.

  • Now even the php's i386 version is on the repository.

Feel free to PM me if you want a sync. Also it seems like it is on there now.

  • Updated the openlitespeed package to include a patch that hide the server header if you choose, in the management console, to do so.

Updated the openlitespeed package to 1.2.2 (the new stable branch); in this build SPDY is enabled
Updated the gesftpserver package to fix the previous fix
Updated the dropbear package to fix the sftp-server path

Updated the php5 package to fix the php5-litespeed init script (maybe this is the last fix)
Moved the nodejs package to the component 'nodejs'
Added npm to the component 'nodejs'

  • By the way, thanks for putting us in your repository.

@lsmichael: You are welcome. Is a software that I use, so I put it into my repo. :)

I didn't made it available on armel just because an armel admin_php isn't available. :D

  • What about Nginx?

  • @Jeffrey: I don't like nginx, it's support to bsd socket is far from good ( I've put some reference here, nearly one year and half ago: http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/27726/#Comment_27726 ).

  • MunMun Member

However, isn't the repo for Debian which is Linux and not BSD.

  • @Mun: bsd sockets aren't BSD only. bsd sockets are api used with unix domain sockets ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berkeley_sockets ).

  • MunMun Member

Well as of current I am using nginx sockets on http://www.gaming-servers.net/ with little to no issues on nginx :)

  • @Mun: pm. As I wrote in the PM, I prefer to avoid to continue this discussion in this thread.

We linked to your repo from open.litespeedtech.com (We just put up repos for CentOS 5 & 6.) What do you want us to call you on the site? (Can we use your name?)

Keep in touch when you find more bugs (or just keep in touch).

openlitespeed: Completely rewrite of the init script; thanks to @trelawney for the report

  • Thanks for the lightning speed response @Steve81 ! i'll be using openlitespeed in a soccer-mom website I have to host :)

  • openlitespeed: Updated to version 1.2.3

  • 2013-10-05:
openlitespeed: Updated to version 1.2.5 and divided in openlitespeed and openlitespeed-adminphp

    2013-10-07:
openlitespeed: Compiled for armel (without spdy) and updated init script

  • 2013-10-22:
php-zendoptimizerplus: Created package for Zend Optimizer Plus

  • 2013-10-23:
openlitespeed: version bump to v1.2.6 (and a little tuning in rules script, to use debian hardening flags).

  • 2013-11-07: php-zendoptimizerplus: added litespeed sapi support

  • @Steve81 what do you provide over http://www.dotdeb.org/ ?

@Raymii: everything I wrote in the first post, plus php5-5.4.4 with litespeed sapi support (to use with openlitespeed) and php-zendoptimizerplus (patched for the litespeed sapi support).

And I support amd64 & i386 & armel (except for nodejs, my nas is too slow and the test phase reach timeout).

So the difference between my repo & dotdeb is quite big; another architecture, different packages and openlitespeed support.

Full package list, divided by components & architecture: http://apt.balocco.name/pkg_list.wheezy.txt
