    Ah, uh- i missed it.
    But honestly that was a bit over my budget anyway.
    I was looking for something in the 30 usd region with half the storage.

    But anyway - yes, if a perfect match would surface I‘d probably bite, but for now I am good - I got myself an OVZ for Linux / general Webhosting earlier (it might be not as fabulous a system as KVH, but the price definitely is) and have a KVH in Frankfurt that is not the best equipped (1,75 ram), but will do for some testing.
    And in reality, Windows really is Not that sexy on Servers.

    So I’ll go to bed now and walk away with what I have - not the perfect total match, but bargains that will perfectly serve their purpose.

    Yep, didn't mention it but I'd cover the fee of course.

    I think I have a $6 384MB OVZ, but I don't remember if it's LA. I'll need to look. I was going to use it for DNS. If you want it w/ transfer fee, it's yours.

  • @Virmach - I just want to check whether I qualify for the 'reinstatement' (un-cancel) of that amazing $23.99 KVM 10gbps 8GB 4core deal that made the universe crash.

    Sorry that I only mention it now, but I had to wait for approval to be able to post here and I didn't want to bug you guys with a support ticket, in case I got it wrong and don't qualify (but I think I do?)

    The system sent me the Invoice email and it listed it in my services - but inexplicably it kept declining my CreditCard (which worked fine for earlier deals I bought and again worked fine an hour or two later), so I assume the fault must have been part of the system crash.

    The email stated:
    ---> Invoice #465090
    Invoice Date: 11/25/2018
    Due Date: 12/02/2018 <---

    Which makes me believe that I did actually "buy" the deal and completed the transaction - as long as the payment was made before the stated 12/02/2018 (?) [I have $35 store credit ]

    So I decided to add "store credit", in case that was a way around the problem - and the service was still listed (as "unpaid" but pending) as I was sent the 2nd Invoice (for the store credit add)...

    ...after a couple of fails, an hour or two later it suddenly worked and got confirmed:

    ===
    This is a payment receipt for Invoice 465113 sent on 11/25/2018

    Add Funds $35.00 USD

    Total: $35.00 USD
    Amount: $35.00 USD

    Transaction #: txn_1DagWn4l8iwG8nJ52E96MlE7

    Then mysteriously the service changed to "cancelled", without me cancelling it.

    I currently still have the $35 store credit - which will cover the $23.99, if you'd be as kind as to reinstate / fix it? :smiley:

    Do I qualify? Or should I morn the loss and except that I lost the great deal?

    greatly appreciated, all the way from Cape Town, South Africa :-)

    nothing, when I ordered, it shown so many ubuntu, but at the end of page, there's still have add to cart button,

    As long as the page loads, it should still work. I scrolled down until I got to the CentOS stuff, picked any box, used the drop down to select x64, and scrolled to the bottom. There are two boxes for "understanding support", one was already checked. Then just check checkout.

    Really, though, you can re-install later with any OS, so just pick the first box you see.

    It does, but I was doing it before other people posted about buying. I also kept getting captchas (I'm still at work :/), so maybe that's why?
