More RAM than Storage, the sage continues. Last time I heard RAM was quite expensive and SSD were getting cheaper and cheaper. Pffff. Not for Virmach.

Should make a ramdisk and use dd, see what you get.
Look through the other threads with providers offering enterprise NVMe and see some ram-like disk speeds.
Using good drives NVMe RAID can be pretty fast, yeah.

Another update. We're only allowing a few actions on our website before a captcha appears, to ensure people are not constantly adding offers to their cart. We noticed a lot of people are adding the deals to their cart to "reserve" their space and then deciding if they're going to check out or not -- this is not intended.
To give everyone a fair chance, we believe this will work out better. No one should be affected unless they're clicking too many things too quickly.
You can still refresh the main page for the flash sale without penalty.
We'll tweak this around to reduce false positives but everyone has the same number of permitted requests so it should be fair, even if you get a captcha. It might just make you lose your mind.
We've put an upper limit on these auto packages. This may be the last of it's kind, for better or for worse. There will still be some that are more unbalanced but not this unbalanced.
RAM is the new disk. We're years ahead of the competition.
