Yes, you are right about the FREIGHT cost. But some products have cheap freight.
I think the problem in China is the scammers. It is not easy to get a good provider there if you do not know him/her in a long time. I had several problems buying from China.
Yeah you can buy from distributors. You just need to buy in bulk. Are you looking at 1000 CPU trays?
