wow very nice offer. I am already a customer. The last uptime for my vps was 71 days. Until the node was restarted for the kernel updates , today my vps is down again because , the DC has no electricity in Atlanta and its more thn 4 hours now. Hope they work out something.
other then this , UGVPS is just great , never had a problem and the server I/O , port speed is just awesome.
Same here. It's a pity, but I wont complain since their track record so far with uptime has been excellent.
But I would like to bash ColoCrossing for not having an alternate power backup solution. It's actually hard to imagine, from a third worlder's perspective, since even home PCs have backup UPSes for as long as upto 24 hours, and even inverters for the whole home, which can work for around 36 hours.
Yea, that's what irks me.. 15 minutes of backup power?
A wayside eatery in my city has backup power for an hour at least. Companies like Infosys probably have enough backup power to last the entire complex for half a month or so. Heaven forbid that some kind of disaster strike these cities. But in such a contingency, what will you do?
+1
Atlanta test file isn't working.
Atlanta is down due to power outage at Colo@ facility
Is that so? I thought power has already been restored in the Atlanta facility.
Virtual Server Control
Status: Unavailable
it has been 8+ hrs
okay my vps in Atlanta is up
And... test file is still down for Atlanta. @UGVPS may want to look into this.
All setup. I had a very awesome Uptime i-e 71 days until this happend. So i dont think i will change to another location. there was nothing on part of UGVPS , they are always the best :-)
i hope Atl node is back , as it was before.
