T-Mobile/Telekom MK slow as death.
Meganet/Telekabel MK normal.
Cloudflare fucks something up, i think.
Also slow from here. Doesnt matter if traffic goes through Kabel Deutschland, Deutsche Telekom (even mobile data) or our own network, where our office traffic goes through.
atleast it is persistent shit for everybody on fra cloudflare PoP https://www.webpagetest.org/result/181015_AJ_fee960e6444dc89334c7041eaecbf180/1/details/
Hmmmm. Any changes here?
Admins still do not answer
Can not create a ticket. Any one else here with this problem?
yes the problem is persisting. I think as it's some jquery form javascript that times out that's why one can't create stuff that's supposed to open up an overlay form (flag posts f.i.)
Yes. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. It is still very slow.
On Vodafone DE it works just fine. Unitymedia DE does not work as intended.
Just blocked JS for now. Can't edit / flag post but at least I can do sth.
Just looked at the waterfall because that jquery thing puzzled me.
The real culprit seems to be a &%§$"& twitter button (
https://p.twitter.com/f.gif?_=1371780736165&id=twitter-widget-0&lang=en&screen_name=LowEndNetwork&show_count=false&show_screen_name=true&size=m&twttr_variant=2.0&twttr_referrer=https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/152547/let-slowly/p2&twttr_widget=0&twttr_dnt=1 )
It leads to a DNS error and took quite long, more than 1.7 seconds (by far the largest time consumer on this page).
nah, that's not it. on affected networks the render blocking jquery.form thing times out after a whopping 30 seconds. waterfalls have already been posted...
if you're not seeing that, it is not slow for you (as in 30sec per pageview slooooow) ;-)
It is still very slow on T-Mobile/Telekom MK.
Please send help.
I have this problem too.
except that one,
the site opens very quickly. slowness can be caused by the internet operator
Yes, it was indeed not that slow for me although I even went through some VPN too. My max. wait was far less than 1/10 of 30 sec. Just tested it again from a german VPS, result: about 0.7 sec. (just https://www.lowendtalk.com/js/library/jquery.form.js?v=2.6.3).
Also did the Cloud%&§# trace. Here are the relevant/interesting pieces of the result:
Cache-Control: no-cache
Content-Encoding: gzip
Expires: [Set to be always expired]
Set-Cookie:...expires= [in 24 hrs]
colo=TXL [Berlin, DE]
spdy=off
http=http/1.1
(http response obviously 200)
this problem has been present for 1 month. I hope he will recover as soon as possible.
Loading just fine here in US.
Help has arrived.
Now it works okay again, as it used to about one month ago.
Working here, too.
cofnirmed for unitymedia too.
Confirmed for now (Unitymedia).
Confirmed for Vodafone
Confirmed for 1&1 Versatel
Is still a issue with CloudFlare.
Error 524 A timeout occurred
Yeah. Slow sometimes. The end is nigh I presume.
Embrace the end and it will become faster.
We all gonna die ...
But with me I notice for a few days a significant speed optimization
Working just fine here in good old america.
