Suggestions for video streaming with DRM

Anyone has tried a service that lets you upload, encode and stream (with multi-DRM) videos, and charges as per actual download/encoding.

Azure media services looks perfect, but its not available in my country.

  • Are you looking for premium service or just transcoding piece? Azure and AWS has something to start with.

Look at bitmovin, brightcove, etc for premium segment.

DRM is such a PITA that it almost always causes more problems than it solves. If the idea is to make it near impossible for your videos to be downloaded, a streaming server might be an option. We are currently looking into such a solution for a customer.

  • Would help to know the country as there are a few countries that US Corps can't do business in.
