hello,
what is the BTC payment gateway available for whmcs? and easy to setup and trusted too?
Comments
coingate
coinpayments, spectrocoin
coinpayments, bitpay
Coingate and bitpay are trusted gateway providers
+1 for coinpayments
coinpayments.
bitpay made payments inconvenient for many users by enforcing policy for BIP70 payment urls, I personally prefer having an option to manually input the address and amount, moreover, they are expensive.
CarrotPay and BitPay.
Disclaimer: I've been banned from WHT for 'shilling' CarrotPay.
Maybe acting as your own payment gateway?
Take a look at https://github.com/btcpayserver/btcpayserver .
bitpay will put cap on startups / newbie companies. better try spectrocoin. spectrocoin may have problem with whmcs 7.6. you will need to get updated spectrocoin module so it work with whmcs. Coingate states on their site that module is ot for usa residents/ companies. cyberbit does not have any page on internet to find out where to register for their cyberbit offering. this module is mentioned in WHMCS but not found in google search. If your company is Private limited than you can get bitpay. I suggest spectrocoin. They are eu based company. I hope this answers your question. good luck.
+1 for Coingate.
I would recommend "Blockchain V2 API" plugin from WHMCS MarketPlace.
-1 for coingate as user
i have paid to a license provider in BTC with the coingate gateway they use..
Payment from me was done via coinpayment wallet. Due to the difference in BTC in coingate & coinpayment wallet it was underpaid .
As soon i see underpaid i cancelled the order thinking i will get refund
https://coingate.com/invoice/be408969-a837-4b27-a574-815e4dfb10e5 (Why i have to spend in loss)
Screen from coinpayment : http://prntscr.com/kpgynb (i have paid 0.00115 including fee)
But my story ended with charity donation stating they dont refund below 0.001BTC. I cant even pay the balance in invoice back as i already clicked cancel invoice.
So providers who use coingate inform your client they dont get refund if its under 0.001BTC. Also ask them not to use any wallets(QR scan) for payment.
coingate terms : https://support.coingate.com/en/67/how-can-i-receive-a-refund-for-a-fully-paid-order-an-expired-order-a-partially-paid-underpaid-or-an-overpaid-order
in my situation their wont be option to pay as i cancelled the order.
Lesson learned : BTC even have refund policy
@vpsGOD Regardless of gateway Bitcoin refunds are PITA.
We use Bitpay as merchant, and I've paid for services with merchants using both coingate and bitpay. Both are decent from a users experience IMHO.
We use both bitpay & coingate. Bitpay needs to update it's whmcs module for the newest whmcs version. Coingate is working ok.
Coingate, no problems there.
