Waiting for the return of the Thanks button! Also for the record there's currently no way to remove a like. With thank there was always also "Unthank". (I hope that returns as well).

I notice existing thanks were converted to likes. The words don't mean the same thing. Just because I was thankful for something doesn't necessarily mean that I liked it. You might thank your doctor for doing your cancer surgery, but certainly wasn't something you enjoyed! Whoever changed the software didn't seem to care. It's just gamification, trying to addict people into seeing numbers clicking upward without their meaning anything.

We need one for LET.
It is probably going to be reverted, it was probably always going to be reverted, guys there are new devs working on improvements for LET this one was picked as a quick little project, it never had to be permanent.
It was picked to stop some of the holes the thanks function puts in to privacy and the thanks was changed to like during the course of that, nothing more, now because someone decided to 'like' every single visible post on LET the devs time will be diverted dealing with that instead.
Things also do not require a big public vote just because you do not like them.
They sure as hell do not need some childish protest where some idiot decides to script something to like every visible post on the entire forum, just waiting to see how much of someones time you are going to take up reverting your stupidity @somewhatwindy to decide what action is going to be taken.
First time an years there have been active back end admins and dev's for the forum and the cool kids that resist change just for the sake of saying no attack, good job.
