I'm actually paying 6 dollars a month for the BeastNode server. Was an offer last year. Though Minecraft was an example.
I was looking at the plan VPS-4096 at https://www.beastnode.com/cloudvps/ , whose specs appear to match those of your server. If you're paying only $6/month, then that's a great deal for what you get.
I could always keep BeastNode and get a second one. I've been looking at:
https://contabo.com/?show=vps
As well. Though not fond of 100mbit.
You might also take a look at Spartan Host, who offer Minecraft servers:
https://spartanhost.org/minecraft
I have an ordinary VPS with them ( https://spartanhost.org/vps ) and have had a good experience, though I use it as a Nextcloud server (so the application is very different from a game server).
(But, frankly, I don't think that you can beat what you pay for the Beastnode server.)
Thanks, but the thing is that I randomly host gaming servers depending on my friends. Could be minecraft, minetest, Terraria, Starbound, and other games that have the ability to host dedicated servers. Which is why I referred minecraft as an example
And yea. Beastnode is a great provider! RAM is quite expensive though if I wanted to up that with them. Will cost me an extra 16$ a month for 2GB extra.
Okay, I see. :-)
Ouch, that would indeed hurt.
Though I'll think I'll up my max to 14 euro's a month (16 dollars a month) if anyone can beat the netcup offer. (Similarly, anyway). I prefer paying in dollars .
