Good Price. and could you please give me your website for me to choose other services?
OVH website. Here the euro / english version https://www.ovh.ie/dedicated_servers/all_servers.xml, but you can choose others websites/languages
Do something like "do-16" please
Thank you for your information.
Not planned sorry :P
You're welcome
@ninzo59 Thanks for sharing, grabbing one in BHS
Random question/feature request: With the new SYS models, will we ever see a reasonably-priced KVM option?
$30 for a 24hr lease is quite ridiculous when I'm fairly certain the newer models you guys are using have IPMI/KVM built into the boards (unless you're swapping motherboards when moving product lines from main OVH lineup to SYS). Maybe a more reasonable $X/mo add-on to pay for the additional network drop required?
And give us back E5 V2 configurations.
This post should be in offers section, with a link, too.
Hello,
Indeed are new models (on SYS) allow the KVM / IP, but the SYS manager doesn't allow to use it yet. Currently, we are mainly working to offer the best ratio perfs / price possible.
About this improvement on manager, we do not have an ETA but when we offer KVM / IP on SyS it will be either free or really cheap. (like we do on OVH).
@ninzo59
OVH Monitoring stopped working on July 23 at all branches.
If the server goes offline, this email does not come:
94.23.203.95 - not my server, this is just example letter which stopped coming. So on all servers and branches: OVH Kimsufi SoYouStart. You just have a lot of servers and I see bugs right away if something does not work.
Then comes a letter about the intervention on the server.
Since July 23, notifications from OVH Monitoring have stopped coming.
Please tell the team what it does that does not work monitoring.
And the second. There is a tariff GAME-3. So the point is that the old one is included: https://www.soyoustart.com/ie/order/soYouStart.xml?reference=173game3
But when ordering, he writes PLAN NOT FOUND 404.
But the new https://www.soyoustart.com/ie/order/soYouStart.xml?reference=1801sysgame06 is not available for 2 weeks.
Does not it seem like illogical?
OVH switched to a new monitoring system the 18th using the subnets:
There's a travaux post about it here: http://travaux.ovh.net/?do=details&id=32873
I read it. Packages are available and I'm talking about another monitoring.
About this I informed: http://travaux.ovh.net/?do=details&id=32873 on July 8th that the MRTG flew on all servers:
It's strange that they have so many customers, but nobody sees or writes bugs.
I'm talking about monitoring on Kimsufi & SoYouStart:
Which is related to http://travaux.ovh.net/vms/
When the server down came message: Our team of technicians on site (operational 24/7), has been informed of the fault and will intervene on your machine.
Here:
Next, the server goes into the intervention and is repaired. But now when it go down there is no notification from OVH Monitoring on the email and is not duplicated on in the Tickets! But a letter of intervention comes.
@Vova1234 If those issues you're having are the server randomly crashing/black screen constantly try running Ubuntu if you're on CentOS. Every 1 out of 6~ of the i7's I get at SYS have crashing issues which appear to be some type of driver issue with a certain hardware.
@MikeA
I can administer servers. By specialty is a programmer and system administrator. I have on the servers for projects uptime of years:
At me falls only when the data center falsifies. As it was with RBX and SBG in 2017 in November, just example.
I'm a reseller, sell OVH servers in Russia and Asia. Customers are different and not everyone can competently work with servers. Clients themselves administer their servers. If it fell, then monitoring is triggered and raised by the server employee of the data center. The whole problem is that the notification to the mail and tickets has fallen off. The monitoring itself works, but does not notify you about the server falling or starting up.
Just every day about 40-50 emails from OVH monitoring come to SYS/KS servers:
But the last two days (July 23, 24), these letters did not come at all, and I wondered if OVH might have broken something. Well, I disabled the test server, deleted the folder /etc/ and rebooted through the console. Notifications of the fall did not come from OVH Monitoring, but the server was sent to the technician.
Maybe it's a bug in the EU panel, not in the US panel. The panels are separated.
On their brand division: OVHcloud.com/OVH.us I got NIC HANDLE with ID 1.
This text was translated via Google Translate since English is not my native language. In Russian and other cyrillic languages do not matter in which order to write the words. In any order it will be clear, in comparison with the Latin alphabet.
I think this is the first time I see NVMe disks below 100 CAD a month in our beautiful country. Might be the cheapest NVMe offer I've seen on this side of the pond too.
Thanks for your feedback . It's limited stock, we won't add any other servers to the existing stock.
Can two more NVMe disk be added to the server ( for a total of 4)?
Unfortunately you can't have 4 NVMe on this EG-16 server.
SSD selection does not work: https://www.ovh.ie/dedicated_servers/infra/1801eg12.xml
On main site wrote SSD:
On order wrote SATA:
When I select SSD disks order it flips to SATA disks order. The selection of disks on servers tariffs does not work.
Thanks. Which of the servers support 4 NVMe?
Bravo. I intend to rent a dedicated server. thank you.
Ye we saw this bug yesterday night, it's fixed now @Vova1234
If you are only interested having lot of NVMe stockage on same dedicated server, our lower option will be the SP-32 with 2 x 1.2 TB NVMe (+44€ option). 118.99€ (ex VAT) / month => https://www.ovh.ie/dedicated_servers/enterprise/1801sp02.xml
Not yet fixed. Try creating an order for ssd yourself: https://www.ovh.ie/dedicated_servers/infra/1801eg12.xml
Or here's an example for another tariff: https://www.ovh.ie/dedicated_servers/enterprise/1801sp04.xml
The selection of disks does not work yet. Even the price does not change when you select a disk.
We just rollback a JS configuration, we are refreshing our CDN on our POPs WW. can you refresh your cache aswell ?
Should work now: https://www.ovh.ie/dedicated_servers/infra/1801eg12.xml (at least for france and IE for now)
Works. Thanks. Problem was in cached JS. Clear cache and ok.
Cool. Thanks for your feedback !
