  Enabling it is straight forward and does not require any kernel recompile:

  On the OpenVZ host: Grant access to the /dev/fuse device:
  vzctl set CONTAINERID --devnodes fuse:rw --save
  In the container: Create /dev/fuse device file:
  mknod /dev/fuse c 10 229
