Anyone using Node.JS on OpenVZ (VSWAP)?

FFFlipFFFlip Member

I'm interested in any limits people are hitting e.g. NUMTCPSOCK etc. also first hand knowledge of providers with generous limits and/or that are happy to raise them upon request.

I'm aware that non VSWAP OpenVZ has issues due to node 'hammering' the VSZ; isn't an issue with VSWAP.

Comments

  • Our stack is Node.JS and we use some OpenVZ boxes for a couple of parts.

We've not run into any hard limits but have come across a few providers who have complained about our socket use.

  • Generally works fine.

  • Been working fine for me so far. Haven't done too much with it yet, though.

That's great folks, can't beat a bit of current knowledge; thanks!
