UK based low end vps provider with debian 64bit minimal images

Hello,

I'm searching a low end vps provider with 32-96MB ram (vswap or burst ram would be nice but not required) and at least 200GB traffic/month bandwith. I've already tried/found httpzoom and DotVPS and the price is good, but both don't provide debian 64 bit minimal images :( With minimal I mean images with not (or not much) extra software just ssh and a ram usage of 4-10MB in idle running.

Thanks for your answers :)

    I asked HttpZoom weeks ago to add uptodate Minimal Image, but it looks so that they dont care about it. Its realy outdated....

    lol. I asked them too, a month ago and they said they wrote it on the todo list. Today I asked again and they said I'm the only customer who ask for that and that's why it doesn't have high priority.

    @Jack Yeah that's me :D I've already answered you. Thanks for your great offer :)

    @Jack.... every host that i know offers near UpToDate Images.
    So it would be nice when you would do this.....

    Okay I have to correct myself, httpzoom "has" a debian 64bit minimal image, but it needs 40MB in idle running. I compared the running processes with my other 64bit minimal image server and they are the same, but the other server needs 4MB ram :(

    Thank you Jack and for your great ram upgrade too! That's really customer friendly and I will buy one UK VPS as soon as you've one minimal image :)

    Hey,

    With HTTP-Zoom if you are on a 64mb VPS and running at 40mb ram isn't suitable we actually have a promotion for existing customers that allows you to upgrade to 96mb for free. Email sales <@>; httpzoom.com.

    We do care about customer requests, however if we do have an image which is minimal, but is not suitable it will not take priority over more pressing projects we currently have.

    @httpzoom

    Yes I have to say, your service is good. I think your support is one of the best in this business.

    If NAT IPv4 with 20 UDP+20 TCP ports and native IPv6 is any good for you I can do that in the UK or NL via http://lowendspirit.com for €3.00 p/year :)

    I have the debain 6 64bit templates which I have minimised to run at around 4mb idle.

    @Jack ordered! Thank you.

    @Anthony I'm already customer :) I love your minimal images :D

    Some good news and bad news.

    One of our billing guys @Sunny_HTTP_Group saw this thread and managed to reduce our 64bit Debian 6 minimal to 9mb usage and get the packages updated.

    That's the good news, bad news is he'll probably now ask for a pay raise! :-(

    What he doesn't realise is he'll now be tasked with creating more as we never knew he could do this!

    @httpzoom but the image isn't live, is it? My VPS needs ~34MB with fresh installed 64bit minimal.

    Hey,

    Image should be live under: Debian 6 64bit Minimal.

    If you are having issues a support ticket should be submitted.
