Virtualization on Hetzner

edited June 2018 in Help

So, summer is came and I have a real headache to setup LXD with bridged network.

Host (Ubuntu):

https://pastebin.com/evD42G2U

Virtual server (CentOS 7):

https://pastebin.com/JGekYzKi

"lxc list" shows IP assigned but there is no connectivity inside a VPS... Any suggestions?

The ifcfg-eth0 that proxmox generates for LXC should set the GATEWAY to the main IP of the server.

At least what I do, is IP address, netmask being 255.255.255.255 and gateway being the IP of the proxmox server - no scope is defined

I do not use Proxmox, just plain LXD cli. I will try your suggestion, thank you.

Still no internet in VPS :(

  • Is the "Additional_IP" one bought singly or one from a subnet? The latter won't work with bridged networking so the host has to route the address.

It's a single IP. I have to use their "Proxmox" template and than everything seems went fine.

EDIT: VM is working with additional IP but main IP is unreachable :D Amazing...
