Recommendations?

I am looking for a low end VPS with the following specs(+/-):

128-256mb of ram
1 CPU core
1TB(or more) data transfer
1Gbps(or more) connection
100GB(+/-) space
OpenVZ or KVM, doesn't matter.
Prefer it in Europe somewhere.
Around $10 a month(+/-)

I see some deals close to what i want, but I am usually too late to take advantage of them(too old of a post or sold out). This also might be a little higher than the defined "low end".

Thank you.

    you meant $10/year?

Increase your budget a bit more and go with Ramnode or buyvm. You won't go wrong.

Oh, and use coupon LET20 for $20 credit (2 months free on the 1GB plan)

  • If I could get that for a year, I'd be more than happy with that...but the space/transfer/connection seems like it would be a little more costly.

  • Ramnode/BuyVM are US only?

I have a VPS with Ramnode, it's amazing.

  • @JamesGTRS USA only at this point.

I think you might struggle to get that sort of space in Europe for your price point, even OverZold only go to 80GB and that's for more than your budget.

Give @Patrick a shout, he was able to offer me some decent one-off deals with a lot of disk space on one of his NL nodes before, he might be able to help you out with something similar.

  • @awson - Thank you. For the $20 I can at least try it out for free.

@Patrick - I'd like to give it a try for a month if you can send me a link to sign up.

    http://colorhost.de/en/server/vserver/openvz-small/
    100GB storage / 1GB RAM, 1GB Swap / 1Gbps connection / openvz

    7.99 € vat inclusive (or 6.71 € if you're outside the EU)
    Frankfurt Germany.

I think they still include 2.5TB traffic in their new plans and 4 cores.

    Is this coupon still valid?

Welcome to the Low End Network!

    It did for me yesterday.

  • @DomainBop - No, I didn't see it. It looks good, but on the page all I see is "traffic : included". Doesn't say anything about speed or amount of data.

@Spirit - Thanks! I'll keep that in mind. I'm currently testing driving two different services.
