Looking for affordable 1Gbps unmetered linux server in Europe

Hey Guys,
I am looking for an affordable 1Gbps unmetered linux server in Europe.
I need a high end CPU with around 16GB of memory. I dont care about disk space.
What providers do you recommend ?
If you want to send an offer, dont ask about my budget, send the best quote you can offer and I take or leave it.
Edit: I need real unmetered 1Gbps port, so dont send me offers with 30TB or 50TB limits. for all I know I may use 300TB/mo.

What budget do you have?
We can certainly help, but naturally not below the cost of supply. We specialise in high bandwidth solutions as well. What is the budget ?
Send me your best offer.
Why everyone asks for a budget when someone posts his requirement. I just don't get it. When you go to a shop and ask for something, the shopkeeper doesn't ask you to show your wallet first.
Whats the problem in providers simply posting their best offer and then let the user decide?
While i get where you are coming from i guess it's because people expectations are often so unrealistic that it's a waste of time to even post offers. Also knowing OPs budget is good to make fitting recommendations. Like if OPs budget is low but still doable point to barely working but still existing solution but if OPs budget exceeds that go for higher quality solution.
What if OP is a novice and posts a undesirably high budget and provider's then mark-UP their offerings just to suit that?
Well, there is no rule on LET against that, yet.
On a serious note, the novice should learn to google and then learn about market survey.
There can't be which is why its more rational for a provider to post his offer instead of asking the buyer to post his budget.
Having a budget helps members post recommendations as well. After all, you wouldn't want the novice to sign up for an AWS instance because it looked cheap, right?
Hetzner 23€/m for a dedicated server in Tsuula. Or 4CPU/16GB VPS for 15.90€/m
This is where the Low of LowEndTalk becomes important. You know what he wants. Just start recommending the shops, starting from the ones with lowest prices (excluding obvious summer ventures).
Depending on your exact HARDWARE requirement, we would be able to do something for you in Lithuania for roughly 363 EUR (including VAT)
For that price we could do the following:
E3-1230v3 (or similar)
16GB DDR3 RAM
2x1TB HDD
1Gbit Connection
The only caveat would be it's basically 'single homed'. We could provide backup routes, but not unmetered bandwidth on the other routes. But as long as the primary line is up, you can use 100% of the 1Gbit line.
While that is true imo even around here lowest price doesn't always equal most desirable option.
Guess there is always going to be someone jumping in going "Geez, with that budget you could buy 10x $Y!" and how common are exceedingly huge budgets around here anyways?
Have a look at (google results):
From 301€ for 1 Gbits unmetered:

Or 139€ unmetered 1 Gbits from here:

E3-1270V6, 16 GB DDR4 ECC, 2x 1TB HDD or 2x 240/256 GB SSD, 1Gbit/s Unmetered, Dedicated, Telehouse or Volta datacentre in London, depending on the availability.
Our network transits with:
We have an open peering policy at LINX LON1 and LON2 as well as LONAP.
£249 (284 EUR/330 USD) / mo + VAT where applicable.
UK Dedicated Servers to order PM or https://www.clouvider.co.uk/contact/
I had the same requirements as you. Unfortunately LET providers don't really make the cut, and the service isn't worth the top dollar they ask for.
worldstream.nl has a 1 Gbit/10 Gbit uplink for $150/$300. Hardware, network, and support are great.
Well, HE.net charges $1500 / 10G and it's the cheapest transit, so yeah, good luck.
Well i guess it comes down to how oversold the unmetered port is. With these numbers 1G at $150 doesnt seem so bad as overselling by 2x might already mean a slight profit for the provider. 10G at $300 on the other hand...
You are comparing dedicated line with shared one. I can even get 1Gbps unmeterred, shared in Germany for $30.
In my point of view, Cloudvider’ price is good with all of these peering.
Yeah, but then when you add anyone more serious than HE.net to the mix prices rise dramatically, and singlehomed he.net 1/10G unmetered is frankly useless.
So sure, one can do 100x contention rate and then your 1/10G unmetered in peak, depending on your neighbours will be nowhere near that, and if you're ok with that for your needs that's fine, but that's absolutely nothing you can rely on to perform all the time.
Agreed. The overall experience is very likely not going to be great (read as crap for 10G) as i think it's safe to assume some of the worst neighbours possible considering they explicitly signed up for an unmetered deal. No idea how bad singlehomed HE is as i've never had to deal with it but i guess it won't make it any better.
Indeed. HE.net is pretty cheap compared to just about anyone else (with a couple of exceptions), but I wouldn't say single homed HE.net is 'useless'.
If you compare a 1G HE.net line to a 1G PCCW or RETN line, then yeah, performance will suck by comparison. But the price is low enough it makes up for the short comings, and it's definitely a usable performance.
We have HE.net in HK, and yeah it sucks, but we are pushing more traffic over it than any other upstream simply because their pricing is like 1/10 the next cheapest option (with the exception of Cogent). And HE.net peers with HKIX, so actually you can get away with single homed HE.net in HK, and it will actually perform well for HK users, and still be pretty reasonable for overseas connectivity. In fact, the price is only marginally more expensive than connecting to HKIX directly, which is practically HK only traffic.
Not that bad at all IMO. Not for the price any way.
@fifthelement, FYI, my offer was not for pure HE.net. It's actually a mix between HE.net and Telia via a Lithuanian ISP Baltneta. Telia is also pretty good.
