Question about OVH manager and adding keys

Some dumbass managed to lock himself out of his dedicated server, key doen'st work anymore and neither does the password. And I'm here trying to find a solution. Well, I found this:

Hoping I was able to add a key to the server and connect to it.... but I was wrong. Does anyone know if that works? My logical sense is saying it shouldn't work because it would be to easy to get access to many servers. On the other side, I don't got much options left.

You could boot the server into vKVM mode and start in single user mode.

I think you can mount a rescue CD from the KVM mode and then reset the password by mounting the HDD
