Just setup nextcloud on localhost nas, now need to be visited via internet. Except for paid solutions like pagekite/ngrok, I have several VPS and small dedicated servers. So want to install both on server and localhost nas. What's most popular solution?

port forwarding?
kind like that, as local nas only have nat IP. but ssh tunnel port forwarding is not a stable solution and it slow down speed as it's forwarded via server
VPN to your VPS, and then nginx reverse proxy on the VPS, pointing to your home PC's VPN IP.
Was more thinking about forwarding via VPN but @rm_'s solution is better i think.
