Are you using the OpenStack API?
Anyone using the OpenStack API to spin up instances, volumes, routers, security groups, object storage Swift etc.?
Or the OpenStack client (which uses the API)?
How about docker machine on top of OpenStack?
Just curious if the API is actually used and what are developers using it for.

Yes, basically everything goes through the Openstack API (cli, horizon web interface)
One can easily develop a custom dashboard with it.
And unsurprisingly, kubernetes integration with openstack is also via the API.
Out side of 9-to-5, I am maintaining this sdk https://github.com/php-opencloud/openstack.
Yes, I'm aware that horizon and CLI are using the API. I was asking if other devs are using the OpenStack API in their projects.
